Hotel Pickup
We pick you up from your hotel or designated meeting point in Puerto Plata in our open-air safari trucks.

Arrival & Briefing
Arrive at the Monkeyland sanctuary. Meet your guides and receive a safety briefing on how to interact with the animals.

Monkey Interaction
Enter the botanical garden. Enjoy 45 minutes of direct contact with the squirrel monkeys as they eat from your bowl and jump around you

Cultural Stop
Visit a traditional Dominican country house. Learn about local life and taste fresh coffee and organic cocoa.

Sunscreen & Repellent: Do NOT apply sunscreen or insect repellent before the tour. The chemicals are harmful to the monkeys if they lick your skin.
Health Restrictions: People with heavy colds, flu, or bronchial problems are not allowed to interact with the monkeys to prevent spreading illness to the animals.
Allergies: Please note that peanuts are often used to feed the monkeys.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
Jewelry: Remove loose jewelry or big earrings, as monkeys are curious and might grab them.
